Join Us and Press for Progress

International Women’s Day

For more than a century, International Women’s Day has been observed on March 8, and today we join the worldwide celebration in recognition of the political, economic, social, and cultural attainments of women around the globe. Through the years, we have pressed for progress in the ongoing struggle for equality. Women and men around the world have joined together to demonstrate, march, and speak out. Because of their efforts, substantial victories have been won in courtrooms and through the ballot box. But with decades of progress, much remains to be done. While women continue to make increasingly significant contributions in every area of endeavor, they often do so in environments that still harbor inequalities.


Together, let’s press for progress

Each day, new reports of sexual abuse, harassment, and inequality in the workplace seem to surface. There has never been a better time to stay focused and to continue pressing for progress. With a renewed global drive for women’s equality fueled by movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp, there’s a strong momentum behind advocacy and support.

Unfortunately, gender parity won’t happen overnight, but women are speaking out and the world is listening.

I’m joining Bridge Partners to #PressforProgress and challenge gender bias and inequality in the workplace.

While there is still more work to be done, Bridge Partners is proud to play our role in this movement. More than half of our employees are women, and we exceed the national average in numbers of women in leadership positions. At every level of our firm, women are thriving.

Yet across corporate America, women are still vastly underrepresented at every level of the talent pipeline, and they are actually leaving STEM fields at an alarming rate. We must do better. We must continue to press for progress.
